My first question is: How many quarts of tranny fluid does a 700r hold from EMPTY?

Second Question is: Getting my car painted within the next couple weeks. It's red with silver ground effects. Should I have it painted metallic red and metallic silver, or keep the plain red and silver? Thanks for all your opinions.

 

Are you emptying the pan or the cooler?
Hayes says 4.7qts in the pan which is pretty close to correct. But if your flushing the cooler, more like 10-12.

 

look at the two paint chips side by side and make a decision
i think metallic would be cool

 

#1. if the whole tranny is dry (including the torque convertor) itll take 12.

#2. thats all up to u man,its not our car and we wont be the ones looking and driving it everyday.
