Trying not to wreck my dash

Okay, so I was taking my interior apart to fix a few various things (speedometer, temp, rear defrost, and some lights behind the cluster) and I took it all apart, but the headlight pull switch won't come off, so I can't pull the cluster out and play with it. What am I supposed to do? Oh if anyone knows what kind of lights are in the cluster and where I can get them, that would help too.

There's a release button on the bottom of the headlight switch. You have to pull the switch out to the "headlights on" position and then press the button.....the switch **** and shaft will slide out. If you take off the knee panel and look up at it with a flashlight you can see the little round button.
