???? totally clueless on this problem

well my 92 had the brakes squealing whenever i used them
so i figure, well i'll replace my rotors since they're obviously warped (i can feel it when i brake)
well i get the parts and before i can get them in, the squeaking stops
so i still try to get my buddy to help me put them on anyways but we havent yet
but now it has started "groaning" and "creaking" whenever i get to about 5mph or below and brake
you can't hear it above 5mph really but right before i come to a complete stop it does this (sounds like it's coming from the rear)
any thoughts on any of this?
btw, it's a disc front, drum back setup

Groaning is usually caused by glazed pads/shoes. I knew a guy that put new shoes on a 60s Barracuda without turning the drums. Sounded like an elephant porno movie at every stop.

Re: ???? totally clueless on this problem

yea, i was thinking the drums but noone had ever told me what they sounded like when they started to go bad
i knew the squeak thing for discs but drums always had me
thanks for the reply
and i'm still wondering why my fronts stopped squeaking
either way, i guess i'll be doing one huge brake job on it
