those with miniram?

what are you using for your thermostat housing? i'm having problems with mine not working right and would like to know if i have any options.....almost wish i could do a remote thermostat that was located off the intake since that area is so limited for me.

Cut it off and get it welded, tpis is a bunch of dorks, they will tell you the same thing if you ask them why it doesn't fit.

They will also charge you for cutting and welding something that is supposed to fit already.

not sure i'm following you? the worst part about my particular instance is the housing itself has the grooves that hold the thermostat rather then the base of the intake itself so in theory you have to be able to get it to sit properly while installing the housing rather then just placing the thermostat onto the intake followed by the housing....

because of this design it makes it very difficult to get it to seal right.

TPIS is a waste of money but i'm stuck with the part now so i need to make it work.

The water neck on the thermostat housing points straight at the serpentine belt, making it impossible to run the belt with the radiator hose attached.

I've never had a problem with it leaking, but I use rtv instead of the gasket.

Use a piece of string looped through the bridge of the 'stat to hold it against the housing, then just pull it through once the housing is tight.
