i have a 1991 rs with a 700r4 and i was wondering what spline it is?

guessing it is a 30 spline??

 

If it is the OEM tranny than yes it is a 30 spline tranny, and I can't see why any one would go through the trouble of putting a 27 spline in its place.

i dont want to replace it with a 27 spline i just want to get a rebuild kit for it and i didnt know what spline it was thanks for the help

 

I wasn't saying that you were going to put a 27 spline tranny in it, I was saying that I doubt someone would have put a 27 spline tranny in it, so that you could go ahead and assume it was a 30 spline. Sorry I should of explained that better.

But hey if you would like a 27 spline input shaft, I have one and a forward drum that is in good shape that I just pulled out of a tranny to replace with a 30 spline unit. (Just joking that would be a bad idea)
