T5 transmission/clutch problems...
T5 transmission/clutch problems...
Alright...
Was at the track, after one fo my runs the car was really hard to get into 1st, or 3rd, and made a noise like marbles floating aorund in the transmission itself...
here are the main symptons...
-hard or will not go into 1st
-will not go into 3rd
-clutch pedle has same fell to it, so it has hydraulic pressure
-clutch does not slip at all
-doesn't throw me out of gears
-today the car worked 100% fine, no noise, drove up, 1st, 2nd, and wound them both down(in gear, clutch egaged, no gas)
all seemed well then the problem came back.
Any ideas? The car is partially under a transmission warranty, the warranty has stipulations, that involve ccertain clutch problems and chipped gears.
In september the clutch was repalced, tranny had a full rebuild and the flywheel was resurfaced.
Also this is in a 94 3.4L v6, but the clutch/tranny setup is pretty similar, and I assumed you guys have more expereince with braking drivetrain parts then the few reponse I got in this v6 seciton and many others...
thanx in advance.

similar thing happened to me, could only shift at certain rpm ranges, couldn't go into 1st or revers without turning off the car at times... if pumping the clutch helps then you need to bleed the line... just open it up and let it bleed it's self. I tried to force bleed mine and it didnt' work so I dealt with the problem until it went away on it's own
I initally thought mine was syncros cuz it happened after I put a new clutch in, but it was just air in the line. For some reason having my slave cylinder sitting open for the few days (had all sorts of problems, don't think theclutch was ever changed) anyhow after a few days of hanging there the clutch line and slave cylinder got air in it.
