T-56 Swap question.
Re: T-56 Swap question.
well little or no angle. i mean the rod does have to angle up to connect to the pedal. its angles fromt he firewall. damn. i need to see one done so i can find out for myself.
anyone in western ny do a swap? hahaha
well im still waiting on parts so i have time yet.
i got the spec stage 3 coming. i got that one reading good things. now that i orderd it i read nothing but bad things about it. im a little worried now.
acually im worried about this whole swap all together. i know i can put it together. but will it be right thats my thing.!

Re: T-56 Swap question.
accually.. if you go to a scrap yard and take off the brake booster and rip put that whole side of the engine and take a piece of cardboard and draw exactly where the holes are u might have a little better luck.. i accually drilled the wholes in the wrong spot so i had to go to another camaro and CUT the whole piece out rihgt up to the bolts for the brake booster and then just bolt it into the existing holes. it was a bitch to do so i would do what i told u and just draw it and make sure of it before u go and make random holes cause the rod is angled perfectly.. and if yours isn;t like they said either u will go through cluthes or you could burst the outside of the slave cylinder eventually.. and also cause leaking problems... either way.. just do the cardboard thing. its easy faster and good results..

Re: T-56 Swap question.
The rod will have to be angled in relation to the firewall, because the cylinder is angled. As long as the rod goes straight into the cylinder, you're good.
FWIW I just pulled a SPEC stage 3 out of my RS....loved the clutch, but I felt like it was too much for my purposes. It was worn out and needed replaced anyway, so I went back in with a SPEC stage 2.
