What do the 2 screws on the frount near the vacuume line in let of the preformer 4bbl backed up with springs do, mixture?
Thought I would ask before I started screwing with them.
It's running realy rich so I need to do something.

 

those are used to adjust the air/fuel ratio at idel. you turn those in until the idle drops. then turn outward until you get the highest idle. each one control that side of the carburator. in order to fix the rich condition, you will need to change the metering rods and/or jets.
