Puddle on the passenger side floor???

Everytime it rains hard or even for a long period of time there is a puddle on the passenger side floor. Its not coming from the ttops, it seems to be coming from behind the dash to the far right near the kickpanel. I have seen this problem in my 87 cutlass supreme as well as a friends 85 firebird. I cant figure out what this is. Can anyone help????

usually that means the heater core is leaking and needs to be replaced. but you say it only does it when it rains? i would check the seal around the bottom of the windshield cuz it might be leaking there... i dunno tho.

Mine does this too. Its because down behind the kick panels there are "access" holes for various things. When I was installing my stereo, I had to remove this rubber sheeting that was glued over the opening. Now when I wash my car, if I spray alot in the fender well area or whatever runs off the windsheild, will start to trickle into the pass side floor. I really need to get to fixing that, but I figure since I'm redoing the interior, I might as well wait and seal every leaky place on my car. he headliner sags too at night when there is a lot of condensation. The whole car needs to be sealed up good.

Well, I hope that makes sense and helps a little even. Good luck, take care of it before its starts to rust.

Will

P.S. You'd know if it was the heater core, my blew last month and that was a pain.
