Rocker Arm Question

If you have AFR 190 heads and they have guideplates on them, I would suspect you would run the non-self-aligning rocker arms, right? Could you run the self-aligning ones instead? What if you had guideplates and ran self-aligning ones? Would it work? TIA

You can not run both! If you keep the guide plates when use the non-selfaligned rocker. Otherwise remove the guide plates and use the selfaligning rockers.

You can run them both, but it won't last long. The rockers and the guideplates will basically be fighting for control and one or the other is eventually going to lose.

Oh, and if you run guide plates it's recommended that you use hardened push rods.
