Question Rattle In Dash

I’ve got a rattle in the top part of my dashboard. It is in the middle just about where the windshield meets the dash. If I stick my finger in there and put some pressure between the windshield and the dash it goes away. I bought some little rubber bumpers to stick in there but it only works for a little while. I’ve taken the top of the dash apart three times now with no luck. Everything seems to be tight. Anyone else had this noise? It is one of many small rattles that I am hunting down, but I only want to deal with one rattle at a time.

I've had good luck using the soft fabric part of a velcro strip not the plastic hook half but use only the fabric side it doesn't harden like rubber will.

Tighten the entire dash pad. Or take it off and tighten everything.

Thumbs up

Yeah, I went and got some velcro. It may not fix this one but it could probably fix some of the others. I tried driving around with the top pad off and it still rattled. I can see this one is not going to be easy. Plus I dropped a screw down the defroster vent.
