Open Air Filter

Hi
Which air filter would u guys recommend from www.summitracing.com , it's for a 5.0 TBI . I'm lookin' for something that would fit with the stock configuration without the need to relocate the ignition coil etc..
thx for the info

Re: Open Air Filter

just go to autozone and get a regular air filter....when i had my 5.o tbi i bought a 14' edelbrock chrome air filter assembly that i put on that looked pretty nice and it came with an air filter....was like 25 bucks i think

Re: Open Air Filter

yeah i know, but does the 14' filter assembly need to be raised or what? because i don't want to relocate my ignition coil which might be in the way.
these are some of the options i need to select on summit. I want the filter assembly to be stock, the diameter etc.

Base Style: Raised/Flat/Lowered??
Diameter (in): 14
Filter Height (in): ?? (what maximum height can it be)?
Net Height From Carb Flange (in): ????
Raised Distance (in): ????

PS/ could u give me the part number at AUTOZONE for that assembly u have
thx
