Hello. Im new to the forum.

Im the proud owner of a 1991 firebird. I was sent here by a friend because Im about to do an LT1 install. He said this was a good place to start.

Heres the car, a few months ago. Fresh from paint. Didnt even have the mirrors or wing on.

Ill be asking annoying questions over the next few months trying to get this LT in.

Love the color! Is the hood a different color than the front bumper, or is it just the light?

Your friend gave you good advice. There is a ton of tech knowledge here.

nice car. is it a 91-92 formula, or is it a firebird 6 banger?

The color is the same, and its the factory 98U, ultra blue metallic. The car is a base firebird, with the dreaded L03. I bought the formula hood, because I didnt like any of the aftermarket ones.

Im still finding my way around, and Ill have plenty of LT1 swap questions, in the future. Thanks for the welcome, and the kind words.

When I had my old third gen Formula I wasn't too impressed with the aftermarket selection of hoods either.
