Question Need a trouble code decoded.....

I was hoping that maybe some of the experts here could tell me the meaning of the code that my computer has stored. I used the paperclip method and after displaying the usual code 12 3 times, it flashed another sequence: flash, flash, flash, pause, flash, flash, flash, flash. It also displayed this one 3 times as well. Please help.....

Unhappy

ok, I know where the MAF sensor is, but where is the MAP sensor? How many vacuum lines are on these TPI engines? And if I did a thorough search of the engine bay, would the faulty line be obvious? Sure wish I had one of those repair manuals, but I'm seriously strapped for cash...

I swear this car is playing games with me.....I just went outside and checked all the wiring harnesses under the hood and made sure they were all fastened. I checked all the vacuum lines I could see and everything seemed ok. I tried starting the car and she started right up like nothing was wrong.

This all started with the car refusing to stay started as soon as it cranked over. It would taked bewteen 3-10 times until it would finally turn over and stay running. And once it was running, the car would be fine. When I first posted this prob, many said it may be an old fuel filter. At the time I did'nt know how to check the SES codes so I don't know whether or not another code was tripped at some point. I guess I should of seen this coming. About a month or so ago the car was acting funny upon first starting it up. It would idle really low for a sec as if it was gonna die, and then idle up near 1200 or so rpms until it warmed up. Now this.......

It seems as though it runs the worst when I need it the most.

Any ideas???

It should be hooked onto the intake plenum. It is a black box with a plug with 3 wires hooked into it. It also has a short hose going to the manifold.
