Need Help, running REAL ROUGH!!

My Friend has a 91Z with a 305 TPI and the car is running real rough. I did a search already but the posts are so random they are of no help. He has replaced the plugs, wires, and in the process of changing the fuel filter. The car is throwing NO Codes. He also tried fuel injector cleaner, and new gas!!
I think he has already checked the air filter and the air box. The car has no MAF but runs like it has a bad MAF!? The car has been sitting around for about 3 - 4 months.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated. It's spring now, somebody has had this happen and probably figured it out already!

Thanks for the help!

Seems like it. But I don't think so . . . matter of fact, it's funny you should ask that question because he had a problem with the distributor being installed 180 out! He said he fixed it but that could still be the problem. It feels like a crossed or disconnected wire!!

I'd pull the distributor, get the engine at TDC and drop it back in. Then make sure you put the wires on right and set the time.
