Filled all the fluids, Made sure all electrical connections were tight and turned the key, not starting. It's cranking over just fine, getting spark and fuel. VATS was supposedly programmed out of the computer, but if it wasn't will the car turnover ? All wiring was done at a local Rod shop that uses Street and Preformance wiring harnesses. I did however notice a plug labeled VATS that was not plugged into anything. Even if VATS was taken out of the computer does this plug need to go somewhere ? ....... Thanks

 

Sounds like the VATS hasn't been removed. VATS doesn't allow for an engine/ECU to be transplanted into another vehicle, basically. But it may be something else...doesn't seem like it though.

The car had been sitting for almost a year. Drained out all the old gas, cleaned the fuel injectors and charged the battery back up and on the 2nd. try, BAMM she fired up. Just me thinking it was gonna fire right up after sitting for so long. I've been waiting for this day for a long time and when it didn't start right away I paniced......Thanks guys
