Is the LT1 MAF the same as LB9?
Is the LT1 MAF the same as LB9?
Im trying to figure out how to connect my MAF on my LT1, and in the previous post, we discussed how my LB9 connector is a 5 pin and the LT1 is a 3 pin, this is because the LB9 MAF connector shares the IAT connector. I know I can splice in the 5 pin connector onto the LT1 but will this work for my LT1 computer?
Re: Is the LT1 MAF the same as LB9?
the extra wires are not for the IAT sensor,
and the MAFs aren't the same,
LT1 MAF works in hz, TPI maf works as voltage
LT1 MAF x hz= x gms/sec maxes out a 11000hz=425grms/sec
TPI MAF x Volts= x Grms/sec maxes out at 5volts=255grms/sec
even if it did splice it the calibrations aren't the same
