loss of fuel pressure

driving down the road, no signs of troubles and the car shuts off with zero fuel pressure. everything electrical still works. the obvious signs are there but i'd like to get some opinions on things to check.

the pump is a walbro 255 340 racetronix kit which is 2 years ( 3,400 miles) old.

running 60 psi though if it matters..

Re: loss of fuel pressure

i have an electric fuel pressure guage in the car.

well after going through all the fuses and wiring, even checking the relay on a dvm it looked a little toasted so i bought a new fuel pump relay for $12 and plugged it in. car fired right up. only after jumping the main lead for the pump and realizing that the pump was good i figured there was nothing left. rather rediculous but happy it all works.

Re: loss of fuel pressure

Wow - are your injectors OK with running 60 psi?

I seem to recall that the stock range is somewhere in the neighborhood of 42 - 50 psi or so... (Although it's been a few months since I've worked on my car, so I could be mis-remembering..)
