loads up on fuel..why!

its the stock PCM with a mail order tune from LSracingchips which are not doing mail orders anymore. The car ran fine other than needing a dyno tune. This problem started a few months ago and because of that i cant really drive it anywhere cause of the bogging, surging, rough ilde and wanting to die at idle.

Just pisses me off! I dont know what it could be ....Im figuring its something simple or something im just over looking.

I dont really have alot of know how to test stuff out except for the easy stuff.

No stored codes at all and the SES light never comes on because of this problem.

I can data log but that doesnt do any help.

So it is the stock PCM out of your 87? When you got it tuned was it for the stroked motor you are running now?

Just trying to narrow down possibilities.


If you can data log then you should be able to see what BLM each bank is reading... At idle during the times it is running rich is it reading low, high or around 128?

yeah its the 87 pcm and was tuned for my stroker. I sent him all the specs on my motor and it ran fine still needed dyno tuning but got me a 7.7 1/8 outta the box.

Ive got tunerpro rt so yeah i can data log but i have no idea how to read what im logging meaning i dont understand all the data.

There are people on this site that can read it. Try posting a file that shows when it goes from open loop to closed then maybe another log that shows a short drive.

Unfortunately most my experiences are with the 1994 LT1 PCM.

i ran the tunerpro to see what the BLM's were.

it doesnt really show what they are at each bank...it just shows 1 reading. When i started it up it was reading 128 at open loop and then choked a few times and started dropping and ended up at 108 and stayed there but the idle was at about normal but i could tell it didnt feel normal. The air/fuel was showing all the way lean.

I also gave it some revs and the BLM's started rising and ranged from 128 to 137 and actually idled at 137 for some time...


i dont know what im looking at....LOL i was also getting some knock counts but no timing retard caused by them.!


WHO WANTS TO BUY THIS CAR!!!!!
