installed the Transgo repgram kit, have questions
I put it the Transgo 2&3 Reprogramming Kit along with the SK 700-Jr-A kit. Everything seems to work good 1-2, and 2-3 but 3-4 wont shift unless Im going about 65 and falls out of 4th around 60. I also have very little overrun braking going down hill in 4th. Im going to be pulling out the valve body again and recheck everything, Does anyone have any ideas for areas to check. Heres a summary of the upgrade:
page 2
A: Pull the pump valve and grind land flush all the way around
B: Put in the green Spring
new int/rev boost Valve , new TV boost valve .500
page 3
VB 1st type plug hole B in Valve Body
Im going for Automatic, not stick
page 4
did step1 Drill .100 hole through partition on angle
enlarge with .157
Page 5
A - New TV valve and tapered spring, B Brown spring, C Red Spring D silver spacer, No shim, My plunger said 94 on it.
E. line bias valve spring- C install blue spring- i installed red spring see below for 3F on second set of instructions.
F. drill .110 vent hole through bottom of passage
G. at end of passage drill .110 hole into valve bore
H. 1st type VB drill .157 hole. I already did on page 4
I. install new small 3-2 control valve and yellow spring
J. install orange spring in 3-4 shift valve-whoops i still have an orange spring left over, maybe i didnt do this
1st type no checkball left side, 2nd type install checkball- another whoops Ithink I installed check ball (am i reading that right)
Page 6
plug 5, F an H - file flush
Page 7
drill A .157
B. no change
C. .157
D. .157
E. .157
G. .110
No auxillary valve body I Have an 85 305
Page 8
A install tapered plug no hole
B install 4th ACC piston then spring( not sure if i did this right)
C install two tapered bushings with .063 hole
if hole H is plugged (it is) do not install ball here
if plate has holes 3 and 4 install checkball here (it does)
Next set of instructions
Step1, 2 same as page 2, A and B
Step 3 install Orange spring, piston, blue spring, spring seat in 2nd accumulator body.
Step 4 check number of Servo piston use black spring step E page 3
Step 5 Install blue cusion spring install original spring, discard snapring, re use first spring, install new corvette style second psiotn and housing, install spring washer and c clip. install 4th piston **** towards cover, cover and cover o ring, retainer
page 3
A- D same as 5A-D on first set, tapered spring says it snaps into valve - opps did nt see that note
E- piston code install blk spring
F- which is the same as 5E above except says install a red spring in the Accm valve for .500 boost valve
this page shows 3 checkballs one of them plastic in the bathtub. so that what I did. No aux valve body.
Page 4
Hole sizes on this page are smaller than on the first set, too late to do anything about that now, which ones are better?
Check ***** in trans, not sure if i installed 5 as shown or only 4. how many are there supposed to be? remember if hole H is plugged (it is) dont install 1. i think i installed 4
no 3/8" ball. most shops do not install it
installed two new small filters
That was it. If you installed this kit before this should make sense
Any help or suggestions are appreciated
Thanks.

Yes, removing the orange spring for the 3-4 shift valve took care of the problem. this kit was a great improvement. Thanks Dana. if you want one go to www.pro-built.net
