Packard wires? Are you talking about the spark plug wires? Those are the $19.99 8mm lifetime warranty wires from a parts store that begins with the letter A ... I don't remember which one. Yeah, they are a couple of years old and they didn't add any pep to my car after I installed them.

The car has two BARO sensors right? One on driver and one on passenger side cowls?

who ever claimed mor ehorse power or "pep"from a set of wires alone???even if you did gain somethign it would be just a few,yes a few like 2-3 and you will never feel or notice that gain

What I meant was the old plugs were very very very old looking, the metal contact leads were rusted, and one wire was pinched under a rocker arm cover ... to me that was huge, and changing the wires should've made a difference. Also, the original wires were 7mm. That's just me thinking though.
