I just bought a Speed Demon carb off of Ebay and I wondered what everybody else that has one thinks of theirs.

It's a new carb, but it's the older style without the "idle-eze" baseplate. Apparently it was a display model. I wished I would've gotten the newer style, but I got a good deal on the carb.

Do you like your Demon? How's driveability with it? And,of course, how's the performance??

BEFORE it goes on the car, take it apart clean the bowls and blow out everything. There are shavings all over the inside of it. Friend just bolted his on w/o cleaning first and then took it back off to clean after it wouldn't run right.
