Hedman LT Question
Hedman LT Question
i have a 350 tpi in my iroc z with the dual cat options, but i had the cats removed a while ago. do i need to modify the y-pipe in order to get my headers (hedman lt's) in my car? what would i need to do to make it a perfect fit? thanks guys
im not 100% sure b/c i havent seen the y-pipe for a dual cat car,but u might be able to cut the factory y-pipe where u need to and use the adaptors that should come w/ the headers. ull have to put the headers in and then hold the y-pipe up there and see what needs to be cut/if it can be cut. i could be of more help if ive seen 1 before,im just tryin to give u ideas.
yeah, i need all the idea's/help i can get... i was thinking about putting the hedman x-tensions and a turn down or something to make it pretty much open headers... anyone got any suggestions? cuz if it'll be cheaper for me to do something like that than to have to buy a new custom y-pipe, i'll do it the cheaper way cuz im pretty low on flow
hmm... here's an idea i wanna see if anyone has an opinion on.
x-tensions:http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...16&prmenbr=361
x-pipe:http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...29&prmenbr=361
h-pipe:http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...49&prmenbr=361
i wanted to connect the x-tensions to the headers and then build the h-pipe onto the extension...or an x-pipe instead of the h-pipe... whichever flows better i guess
