STOLEN: 1984 Z28- Black with 355-mini ram-6spd
Well guys I have some bad news. A good friend of mine had his car stolen last night (friday). It is very unique in that it has a top notch black paint job, hand polished early IROC wheels, 4" Stainless exhaust, a 355 w/ L98 aluminum heads, a miniram, and a T56 6 speed. It also has charcoal leather interior from a 4th gen and a Dana 44 rear end with disc brakes and custom headers.
If anyone see's this car call (586)243-6765 and/or your local police IMMEDIATELY.
The owner works at PF&E and the car was stored in a locked enclosed car trailer from which it was taken.
There may be a reward involved, but I'm not sure at this point.

Mods: 2300-2500 Stall Converter, Shift Kit(GM parts), TPI Specialties Stage 3 PROM, Modified airbox w/ K&N's, Relocated MAT sensor, Gutted MAF, 160* thermostat, MSD 6A, Accel 8mm Wires, bypassed TB coolant, 3" Flowmaster 3 chamber single outlet, custom adjustable cutout, 3" MAC mandrel intermediate, airfoil, ported plenum. !smog, Crane AFPR, Accel rail mounted FP gauge, Harlan shiftlite, 24lb. injectors, Hedman headers, a few others I forgot...??? FINALLY GOT PAINT!!

Mike that sucks. I think I know what car you are talking about. Yes it sounds like a inside job if it was stolen from a inclosed trailer. How else would they know it was there. Something just doesn't sound right.

THAT WAS THE CAR!!! IT is recovered! Thank you for the info. A friend of the owner spotted it on his way home from work (Metro airport) early this morning (Sunday)
Luckily the clutch was bad and thats as far as it went. They took the keys and tried to take the wheels, but didn't get away with them.
Needless to say everyone should be watching their cars.
Thanks for the help Kevin.
BTW- the car was all intact but we are unsure about the engine's condition until Greg gets a new set of keys made.
