There was an article in one of the magazines about that before, but if I remember correctly, they mumbled something about the synchronized T5 costing as much or more as a T56, and still not being as strong. I should see if I can find it. I remember getting my hopes up, but by the end of the article I was pretty deflated.

It would only cost me the 950 because I would build it myself. I just finished rebuilding my STOCK T-5 last night, so it it wouldnt be a problem for me to beef it up with their parts. Where did you see this article at?

Jim,

could you find that info, their site states 500lb/ft, that is equal to what at t56, for $950 and a weekend of my time, it is very worth it to me if i can handle that kind of torque and i can still use my centerfoce clutch. and torque arm x-member ect.

Jim! Where is the info at dude? Show me the article!

Hey Dewey.. Didnt know you came here too!

Knowing G-Force, the 500 lb/ft rating is probably on the conservative side. The first tech I talked to said they have one in a car that goes 9's, and the second tech said 10's. So, if your goal is sub-11's, then this tranny/tranny kit has plenty of reserve and is WELL WORTH IT IMHO. I WILL have this kit in the summer, even if I dont install it yet!
