I have a BBK adjustable fuel pressure regulator, I hooked it all up, the fuel rails, everything, i hooked up a hose to the nozzle that comes out the side of the reg. and I forgot where it went to, and I turned the key to activate everything but not start the car, and there is fuel coming out of the nozzle that comes out the side of it, where do I hook the line that comes from the adj. press. reg., because I thought it was just for vacuum and I hooked it to my plenum, but fuel was coming out and i poured all over my intake??? Any help please! No clear instructions on where to hook the lines?

 

The hose that goes from the side of the regulator goes to the side of the intake plenum. If there is fuel coming out of it.... you have bigger problems. May want to tighten that adjusting screw down a bit. Or... is it (the regulator) used?

 

no its a brand new bbk, yeah there is fuel coming out of it, should I tighten down the adjustment screw or something, don't know.

 

well I tightened down the top adj. screw and fuel still comes out. Does fuel come out of there and I just have to put the hose somewhere where fuel runs!

 

If you have fuel coming out of the regulator it is a bad one. That port is only for vacum and should never have any gas coming from it.

 

The diaphram was ruptured, well thanks guys for your help.......
