Fuel pump problems

I have a '92 B4C that needs a fuel pump. I read some stuff on FAQ that said that the exhaust has to be removed before I can get the tank out. Are there any other nasty little details I need to know about before starting the job? Can anyone point me to a step-by-step procedure for doing this? - Thanks

fuel pump

I missing something - why does the rear end need to low - won't that make it hard to get the tank out?
