Fuel Pump Just Went!

The stock pump should work fine for bolt-ons and even a shot of nitrous.
If you insist on a high performance replacement, mount the pump externally.

Our failure rates are under 1% and we sell LARGE quantities of pumps / kits.
Of the few pumps we get back most have failed due to contamination, rust (common in older cars like the F-LT1's) or being run dry. Either of these conditions will take out a Delco pump just as easily as a Walbro. At least the graded-media filter sock we supply filters down to 30 microns were the factory sock sits at apx. 70 microns.
Price out the factory fuel pump + bucket... it will cost a small fortune. The Racetronix F-LT1 pump assembly (P/N RX-FLT1-FPA) is warranted for a full year and is designed to work inside the factory fuel module (fill bucket). An off-the-shelf Walbro 307 or 340 will not. M.S.R.P. is only $149.99US.
Unless you are in the position such as Racetronix or Walbro to see the big picture it is best to reserve judgment on aftermarket pumps. You cannot use this forum or any other to gauge the failures as most posts are only made when problems arise. For every post about a failed aftermarket pump there are hundreds of people sitting in the background running one without problem. Keep in mind that Walbro manufactures OEM pumps for GM, Chrysler and many other companies. By condemning a Walbro pump you are doing the same in many cases for the Delco branded version.

PS. I have had twin Walbro’s in my car for over 12 years w/o a single problem. The car sits all winter with a full tank of gas and all is well again in the spring…
