Fuel pressure guage

i might be buying a Holley AFPR soon and i wanted to know if this guage will work. i want it to be under the hood and mounted on the fuel rail im guessing is where u put it? part # is 555-41012

if not,what kind do u all have,where mounted,etc... any help is appreciated

I use a Auto Meter sport Comp gauge
2 5/8 and i mounted it under my cowl on my hood ....Auto Meter makes a nice assortment of gauges

yea,i would do that same thing if i had a cowl hood. but i dont and dont have the money for 1 either so the stock will have to do,besides,if u have a cowl hood,some people might expect more things done to ur car then i have....but hell,its all good

o,and do u mount it on the fuel rail itself? i think so but im just double checkin myself,thanx

Definetly on the rail where the shraeder valve is. Makes for quick easy adjustments. One problem I ran into though was that I was unable to find a fitting for the shrader valve that was low profile enough as to where I could tuck the gauge right up beside/under the plenum so I tried to buy a fitting that would screw into the rail and Id remove the shraeder valve. Problem is the stores around here say its fine thread so I bought one. Pull out the shraeder valve and its coarse thread. Back to the parts store and they apparently dont have one or know where to get one so I had my buddy make one on his laidth at his shop. I will email you a picture tommorow.
