okay I found the power draw on my 85 camaro it says it is the acc circut which only seems to hold the power lock stuff. I have some of this disconnected.. any idea?? is it probably a switch?

 

You'll need to get a wiring diagram and see what is connected to that circuit. Then you can disconnect one component at a time while you have a meter hooked up, and see when the draw stops when you start disconnecting each individual circuit. A dealer would probably run you a zerox copy of a diagram for free for that acc circuit.

 

I got one it says power locks... Thats it...
I was using a home made test light with a tail light plug and two wires... thats the one that the thing wouldn't light when it was out

 

The only diagram I have is for a 87 but minus the engine controls everything else should be the same. As I follow ckt 40, it gets spliced into the tail lamp fuse also. I'll just run down the list of where ckt 40 is attached.

Lamp in the trunk area
Door Locks
Horn relay
Light switch
LH courtesy lamp
Fog lamp harness connector

That is all that I could trace.
