Here's where I put mine -

My cutout

The only problem is some subframe connectors won't fit without modifications to the Y pipe. I'm buyin Spohn boxed SFC's this weekend, when I install them in the Spring I'll let everyone know how the install went.

I kinda think putting a cutout after the cat sort of defeats the purpose of a cutout, but to each their own. It's alot easier to install behind the cat though, on the I-pipe.

We put one on the Formula yesterday. Stock manifolds and a 4bbl 305 (mostly stock). Put it right after the pipe that is where the cat should be so it dumps under the passenger rear seat. Sounds nice as hell. A bunch of people were telling us that it'd sound like azz, but it sounds good.

Plus, now our success rate at setting off my neighbor's car alarm has gone from 50% to 100%

Cool do this

mccord makes an exhaust cutout plate to go over the cutout that can be opened from your driver's seat! i have one it can be opened a an1/8 of the way to fully opened. that means you can control the sound of your exhaust nasty huh?? i have a pic but don't know how to post it.

Too expensive anyways. We just keep a welding glove in the trunk and unbolt the wingnuts when needed (provided the thing is actually on at all )
