i am looking to do an engine swap using a 86 firebird 5 speed v6 to a carbed 350. i have the engine (heavily modded 500+ hp, 4 speed trans and a 10 bolt rear that i would like to use. this car is going to be used for the track only. no street time. i would like to know how hard the swap would be and all i need to complete the swap. i know i need such items as motor mounts and fabricating the exhaust. suspension wise will the car handle the extra weight or will i have to change the suspension. v8 camaros/firebirds are hard to find around here in good/cheap condition. i am not planning using full exhaust. will my rear bolt up or will it not work.
