Is it possible to put a Fast Burn 385 crate engine in a 1992 camaro and retain all the stock accessories? The car is originally a 305 tbi can I use the intake and throttle body off that engine? Would I need to change the wiring harness or computer to do this? Sorry about all the questions just don't know much about modifying computer controlled vehicles. Is there any thing else I would need to change? Thanks

 

i can't tell you everything but i can help you get started.

basically the fastburn is a 350 with the nice heads, cam, carb. etc.

however you would need to change alot seeing as how you would now have to recalibrate the computer so you'll need at least a new chip and you'll need an intake since i don't think the tbi will work with the fastburn heads and i know the tpi doesn't. so your looking at over 500 right there just to get you started.

check over at thirdgen.org there are alot more people familiar with the tbi that can help you. i know with the tpi i had to change alot with my engine swap so i can only imagine what you would need with a tbi.
