Question E85 Fuel

Does anyone know if it is safe to run the 105 Octane,E85 Fuel (85% Ethanol, 15%Gas) In our cars. My brother_n_law is running it in hiis 94 Z28 and he seems not to be having problems. I know that Hot Spot Fuels contain ethanol. PLEASE help...

Re: E85 Fuel

it will eat the components in the stock fuel system, cars designed for it have complete stainless steel fuel systems

Re: E85 Fuel

You should tell your brother-in-law to stop using it too. 94's are not meant to use it. Like Dave89IROC said, it will eat anything not stainless steel.
