i wasnt topped out, the road was narrow and had a small crest in the road, i saw headlights and let off

when my 91 GTA had the G92 LB9 in it i did a top speed run on the ohio turnpike, just east ot cleavland...it was at 6 am and there were probly 3 cars i passed in 12 miles...

with a .63 overdrive and 3.42 gears, i topped out at 143-145mph the rpms were at 4,500 or so...i coverd 12 miles in 5 minutes..this was also with no mods!....now that i have another 200HP on that 230 i did the 145 with...i cant wait to see waht itll do....theoretically it has enough gear to pull 178@6,000

 

i was around 5,000 rpms in OD doing i'm guessing around a modest 150...my spedo goes to 145 and that was buried....i don't think i'll do it again...i think back, what the hell was i thinking?!?! oh well, you only live once...
