Talking Do trucks have the same style fuel pump?

Please help me! My work mule (1986 Chevy Silverado, 350 TBI) fuel pump went kaput. I NEED THIS TRUCK! But, a replacement fuel pump would be 250 per AutoZone. I was looking through my Summit catalog, and I seen high volume fuel pumps for much less. Would a fuel pump for an 82-97 F Body work? Any other ideas? Please help, your input is appreciated!

Yep, my dad has lots of success putting TPI fuel pumps into TBI vehicles. The fuel pressure regulator will keep the pressure right where its supposed to be.

Is an 86 the same as a 88? I have a siphon feed pickup unit to get rid of the in the tank fuel pump then you can switch to a in line fuel pump.. The Pickup is a full stainless steel unit with correct ohms for GM fuel guage.. let me know if interested.. also do more checking around.. I remember before I got this unit for my pickup I had to replace the in the tank pump four times.. I bought a lifetime one from Murray's (equivlant to autozone) in Michigan for 47 dollars..

Let me know if interested..
