cutting springs

Lowering your car you should get LCA relocation brackets, and just spend the money for lowering springs, they arn't expenisive. Do new shocks and struts while your at it, they have to come out anyway. Throwing in some bigger swaybars, and putting poly bushings in while your suspention is half apart isn't a bad idea either. Ok, your free job just went up to $800 or so, but it pays to do it right, and you will definatly feel a big differance
While your spending that much throw in a wonderbar ($10 or so), and an STB, 3pts start at $130. Stuff adds up quick

I didn't know progressive rate springs came on Camaros.
There is nothing wrong with cutting springs. It will increase rate which is good when the springs have less distance to travel. Just take your time and cut 1/2 coil off at a time. Put them back in, and check height. It is harder to make the spring longer than it is to make them shorter.
