i just swaped out my v6 for a v8,will my computer work with the v8 tempeture sender?i got a jet fan switch and my temp guage doesent say anything then it shoots all the way up past 260,and the fan still dont come on.can i get a relay or something to turn my fan on and just bypass the computer?

Does your engine actually act like it is that hot? Sounds like you have air behind the sensor. You might have to take out your thermostat and pour water directly into the water pump. Sometimes if you loosen the sensor while running the air will come out.
