Convert to MAF Type System

A buddy of mine at work has a L98 in his boat. It is carburated and wants to swap to EFI. He much prefers a MAF based system over a speed density system (not really sure why) so he is looking around trying to find out all of his options. He has found one company mass-flowefi but was looking for something a little lower than the $3K asking price of thier systems. I did a couple searches but came up with nil for results.

Thanks,
TOM B

Don't know why either. He can run the factory ECM and a Painless wiring harness. I would use the program from the 1989 model which I believe is the 165 computer. However besides the MAF he will need a MAF relay and a MAF burnoff relay. He will also need the high pressure fuel pump and associated fuel lines from his tank.

The boat is a 1991 model and does not have any electronics/ecm/etc. I think he was looking for a complete EFI system including intake/computer/wiring/maf.... everything to convert it over. If there is a way to piece it together then he would entertain that also.
