Code 32 pissing me off

Ok, so I replaced a line (filled with carbon btw) going from the intake to the EGR. I dont smell fuel inside or outside the car AT ALL now (when it previously warmed up, the smell of fuel was identical to just pouring gas all over yourself).

So Im happy in that regard. BUT, code 32 keeps popping up. What else should I check out? Iv read that most of you just ignore it, but it's hard to when it just blinks in your face at night... Plus Im just in that mindset to fix something thats bothering me.

Appreciate it, you guys rock.

Hmm, sorry, didnt include enough info.

I did unplug the battery and let it sit for 10 mins. I went out and drove it, and after about 15 mins of highway driving, it came on again.
Sorry, didnt mean that it blinks...

And I did run a scan on it and it was a 32.

Im probably going to replace the gas cap tomorrow. (Its the original). Besides I hate having to use a key to open it.

Oh, well it just means some sort of EGR system failure. Either electrical, vacuum leak, etc. And like I said, I had a hose replaced, and gases seem to be circulating very nicely now. But, there still seems to be a problem somewhere.

Hmm from what I hear, that would be kind of dumb to do.

Im not in emissions area, but in Texas it will be state wide soon. I am an inspector myself, so believe me.

I got the car back today. They said they couldnt get the light to come on. Well after about 20 mins of driving on the highway it came on again.
But the car drives so good. What else could there be? They looked over everything (supposedly) and said it is all good. Is this a common problem (where the light just comes on for no damn reason)?

What kind of motor and injection system is on the car? I have a 305 TBI and I had the same problem. I went and got a 14 X 3" Open Element w/ K&N filter and haven't had a problem with it since.
