Cleaning MAF sensor

whats the procedure for this? i know mine is gunked up because my burnoff relay went out and i didnt fix it for 2 days and its causing a rough idle on cold start only, and unplugging it corrects the idle. i really dont want to shell out 165 dollars for this part. so any help would be appreciated.

thanks
Sean

and "DONT TOUCH " that wire in the middle. If you break it you'll need that new one, it's very delicate.
If your relay is working now it should burn off what little contamination that has stuck to it, that what the burn-off does. If you do feel you need to clean it just be careful.
