choice sparkplugs?

i'm curious to know what your choice sparkplugs are, especially those with high power motors but anything will do. i recently had to replace my tr6's after they blew up and since there wasn't a ramchargers anywhere near me who keeps them in stock i had to go with champion since they were the only stocked plugs that were non-platinum......

what are you guys running and why?

I use AC Delco's.....They work fine and the last ones I took out (AC's) were in there for who knows how long and they looked decent. One thing tho.....Deffinetally stay away from BOSCH plugs and any other type of Platinum plugs. They dont work good in anything other then 4 bangers. I know iridiums last longer but I dont think they do anything special unless it is used in a forced induction car. I know WRX's get some power with them.

This has been debated time ,and time again, but I was tought (by an old machanic for Chrysler) that you use AC for GM's,Autolite for F@&d ,and Mopar, NGK's work well in Cycles, and rice burners, and German cars use Bosh. Champions are good in lawn mowers, weed wackers, and garbage cans. I may be full of **** and get a bunch of flame for saying this , but this is what I go by, but it seems to work.

I also agree with WK stay away from the Platinums unless you are running a 4 banger!

Well,it's kind of obvious in the beginning AC's were built for GM's to meet there requirements ,and Auto Lites for F@%d ,and so on,and so on, with some other brands as competitors. NGK's pretty much got there start when the Japanesse started importing motor cycles to America. Like I said if you don't agree that is fine, this is what I use and the reasons I why I do.

I got a set of bosch platinum plus 4's for free from my buddy. I put em in my roc and she sucked bigtime. Bad idle, stumbled, missed, ect. I always use the AC delco rapid fire plugs now. I put them in my roc and all those problems went away.
