are you planning to run this on pump gas?

cause i highly doubt you'd be able to do it without using high octane race gas.

but an option would be a badass stroker LSx based engine.

something like a 427 block, BIG heads, BIG cam, FAST intake.

seen a few buildups make 500-550hp at the wheels...which means about 650hp to the crank.

Exactly, 650 hp is totally possible...at 8k+ RPM. Good luck stuffing that into your car and actually wanting to drive it. Your stall would be outragous like 4k! I pit crew for a sprint car that makes the kinda power your talking about and that thing is totally wild. Oh and did I fail to mention its 14:1 on the compression? Which means its an Alky.

So what this all means is if your okay with paying $6/gallon for fuel (and using 2 times as much as pump gas) Not getting the car to move until your close to the normal SBC redline. AND having to replace broken parts....alot, not to mention broken EXPENSIVE parts.

Seriously guy its just tough to make that kinda HP in a streetcar w/o power adders. Look into supercharging like Vortec, they have a sweet setup for carb vehicles that fits under the hood for like $3000. Its just a tough deal to beat.

My stall is 5K and it's not rediculous... until you hit the throttle hard.

This kid is halairious LOL.

Look kid,if you have to come HERE to ask US how to build YOU a 700HP mouse motor...then you better leave the racing and high horsepower cars to people that actually know what their doing.

Do you even have a license yet? What do you drive right now? What are you gonna put this engine into? Ever thought about transmissions, rearends, and suspension setups your gonna need? Probably not.

Here some things you should do BEFORE you "build" this monster engine:
#1. Get a valid drivers license and be able to keep it for a few years (more than 2)

#2. Get a DAMN GOOD job,b/c holy $hit your gonna need it,not only to build the engine but to build the engine again after hit the spray button at idle instead of the purge.

This thread is going to be fun to watch
