i have a 84 z28 camaro. and well it fist started as it not wanting to kick down and just bog and sputter or it would like bog and almost die for a sedcond backfire then giver her hell and know she wont even stay at idel and sometime when i give her som gas in park i liek bogs when she revs so i dunno is it the fuel filter or what any help would be much apprecated

 

sounds like your carb needs to be tuned. i know nothing about carbs though so im no help....

could your timing be off?

 

it could i plan on checking that today but yeah i thought it might be something with the carb i was drivng aound with my hood off yestarday in the 35-40deg. weath up here it's acctully pretty wamr with the t tops off and i floored it and this huge bloom off smoke just bluew out of the carb so i think it might be the timing
