whats the best laucnh procedure in an automatic i have tried hold the brake and the gas at about 1500 rpms but i ran slower doing that i was wondering what everybody else is doing

as much gas you can without spinning the tires

 

One foot on the brake one foot Covering the gas (not on just covering) when you see the lights go to the third light PUNCH IT HARD lol Works for me Got a 1.992 60ft time last weekend

 

What 60' times are you cutting?]

I cut a 1.878 on bald street tires holding the brake and the RPM's at about 1200. I did a full throttle launch as soon as I felt that the tires weren't going to spin anymore. I have a 2400 convertor too.

 

My car is basiclly still stock So I am running Stock street tires. K&Ns, AIr box cut out & hypertech stage 2 chip along with a Alm driveshaft.
Best ET run so far was 14.667 at 93MPH
same run I had a 60 ft time of 1.992

 

what are good 60 foot times?

 

a good 60' time is 1.7XX NA (natural stock motor)
great is 1.6xx(stock motor on N2O
and whenever you get 1.4xx you are doing good
but 1.3xx are the best(most street car dont see that)
