basic 3rd gen advice
I'm running 13.88's naturally aspirated with 392ft lbs of rear wheel torque and 225rwhp, following specs:
Dacco Detroit 2500 stall torque converter (best thing in the world, I also had a B&M Tork Master 2400 when it ran 14.4's but blew transmission)
1.6 Roller Rockers
10.2:1 pistons (rebuilt the motor last year)
TB Airfoil
Underdrive Pulleys (Crank & Alternator)
Cheap crappy paper filters
Cut out air box n routed a/c duct from grille to air box
Lakewood LCA's
Polyurethane torque arm bushing
Removed all emissions equipment
3" Exhaust cut out
Rear disc posi
May have forgotten some things but oh well, went 12.88 with a 100 shot of n2o, so exactly 1.002 seconds off my n/a ET
I haven't installed the headers yet but they do wonders for throttle response, friend of mine commented on how smooth my off-idle accellaration is, whereas his car has headers, if u so much as tap the gas pedal the car jolts forward, very very responsive.
Don't waste your time with a 305, once you've had a 350, you won't want a 305 ever again so just start with the good motor. TPI's make torque, that's all I can say.
Have fun!

dynomax sucks and is very restrictive.
