I just bought this hood for my 91 Z28 and was wondering if anyone has made a ram air box that will work with this hood.

i have yet to see one for sale, but many have made provisions to make it work. mostly looks though. how does your hood fit? quite a few people have had to rework theirs...

 

my hood actually fit REALLY well, considering its a glass hood. I was a little worried about it when I ordered...but all is well. A friend of mine ordered the Ram Air hood from them and it fits really well also.

 

I too have purchased the hood and it fit really well except that the wipers fight to come up untill I notched the back of the hood to allow wiper movement. As for the air box I have posted my own questionaire to see if anyone knows. I have 4 thoughts on what to do.
1. Make one from sheet metal and tubing
2. Slightly modify the 96-97 SS box and mount it to the TPI plenum
3. Figuring out if the OEM 83-86 Mustang SVO box can work and if so how much to be modified.
4. get another dual inlet box used on factory Camaro TPI applications. Cut off the pass. side (Left) snorkel (viewed from front of motor). Fill/smooth out hole from where was cut. Cut air holes in front part of box where its angled for the hood to clear and use right side snorkel with foam to seal to tubing going from the Throttle body. (mounting modified air box to underside of hood scoop. Basically it all works similar to 60's style hood setups moso the Ram Air 3 & 4 GTO's. I hope that was somewhat clear to what I mean.
