Problems with ASCD Spoiler

Hello guys...

I bought an ASCD SS spoiler with the correct third brake light...

Today I was finally able to get the car out of the front collision...

So what do you know.. I hit another car... want to know why??? ABS Inop Sound familiar???

I thought the ASCD did have the correct third brake light???

What can I do here??? Am I on my A$$???

You hit another car???

I don't believe your spoiler caused this. I'm 99% certain that even if you do have the ABS INOP light on because of the wrong bulbs or burnt out bulbs in your 3rd brake light, it is an ABS INOP indication only and doesn't actually make your ABS system inoperable.

You might want to check for a separate problem then as well! There must be something else illuminating the light in addition to the bulb problem. Your best/easiest bet with this damn ABS system is to just get it scanned. The ABS system is extremely difficult to troubleshoot especially if you don't really have a starting point and don't know what is causing the problem.

Good luck!

I don't see how the spoiler light and accident are related? Anyway maybe you have bad wheel sensors.

Well you tell me... If the abs inop light is triggered by the SS 98+ Spoiler.. will the abs work????

Check it out, do a search for ss spoiler and abs inop and you will find what i am talking about.
