my main concern is that if the plugs keep fouling up, im sure my rings are going to get gas washed again and im going to be out of a car for another month while they put new rings in to seat right i just dont get how it could be running so rich, my mechanic told me he dropped the fp down to 35 psi and it was still fouling the plugs

Dude, at 35#, the fuel spray will be not as atomized which is the reason some people run higher pressures but cut back on the pulse width. You paid $50 for that chip and you got what you paid for. Go back to the stock chip and see if it still will foul out the plugs. If it runs a little rich but works without fouling then go to some facility where they do dyno tuning or something where they can get feedback and readjust the chip. That or give www.fasterproms.com a call and pay $350 but it might solve your problems with the EPROM.

Crank the pressure back up to 40 too. That would be a little lower than the 44-45 with the hose off but that should work.

actually, what im going to do is put the stock injectors back on and leave the stock chip w/ stock pressure to see if it starts up. hopefully it's the prom... im going to be pissed if it is, but i'd be a little releaved to know it's JUST the prom, you know? lol

Don;t be simply changing stuff. Run it as it is with the stock EPROM and see what happens first. Like we siad, it would run a little rich but that would be that. With the lowered fuel pressure, you would be probably ok. Also, idling like crap is fine because you have not reset the IAC. If that fails to cure the problem then we can take a next step but I don't see what the injectors have to do with the fouling out.
