I recently bought a 91 z with the 350 tpi it has an after market alarm that is no longer used and I have been having troublr with the starter..how many wires go to the starter I was wondering is some on this z go to the alarm if so I want to remove them...thanks

 

on my 87, there should be one wire to the switch
one wire to the solenoid from the battery
and my starter had 3 more wires on one harness that led elsewhere also connected to the starter solenoid (battery pos)
